I’m unable to view everything on the website, such as prices or even some of the pages.

Different Internet browsers format the website pages differently on some computer screens. If you have trouble viewing anything, try another browser, like Firefox, Chrome or Safari (on Macs). They have free downloads on their websites. If you’ve looked at the website before, be sure to clear your cookies to see the updated version. The site is updated weekly.

How do I figure out the shipping/handling costs?

For multiple items, please contact me for the total, or you can use the following as a guide:

In the US, I ship either $3.00 for First Class (up to 3 oz may include several items, but delivery can be slow) 
OR $6.75 Priority (1-6 small jewelry items. Priority includes free insurance up to $50, so let me know if you’d like more insurance). 

If you are paying with a US money order or business check, please contact me as I will need to send a separate invoice. Shipping is $6.75 Priority
No personal checks, please

What type of payments do you accept? 

Paypal is preferred.  You do NOT need a Paypal account in order to purchase. I will also accept business checks or money orders, but there is a clearance waiting period and a higher cost to ship due to the need for separate tracking.

Sales Tax: 

As of now, only Illinois residents must pay sales tax. It is currently 10%. 

What shippers do you use?

I primarily use USPS for First Class and Priority shipments.  I DO NOT ship Express through the post office as I am not able to get to the PO daily. I can use United Parcel Service if requested, but their cost is higher.

Are orders tracked?

Yes, you will receive the tracking numbers in an automated email message from Paypal when I label your package using Paypal’s shipping label service. If payment was received by company check, you will receive an automated message from the USPS website. They only allow Priority shipments for their online label service (no First Class), so all check payments must include Priority Shipping rates of $6.75 per most orders.

Do you offer postal insurance?

Priority shipping includes $50 Insurance for free. If you would like extra insurance, please ask for it. Standard First Class is not insured, so just let me know if you would like insurance. USPS insurance starts at $2.75 for up to $100.

When will I receive my order?

I generally ship within a day, or same day that I receive payments if it arrives by 11am CST. During the holiday season, I get many orders so shipments can take longer to process. US travel time for First Class generally takes 2-10 business days and Priority generally takes 2-3 days, depending on your proximity to Illinois in the US. I don’t have a staff, so am unable to get to a Post Office daily. I am not always able to offer overnight service.

Do you ship Internationally? 

Yes, my little kidneys have traveled to 5 continents! Costs for most First Class International packages begin between $9-$14. For faster service, International Priority is available at a higher cost, please inquire with your order request and your postal code. All international packages take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks or longer, depending on customs in your country on any given day. You are responsible for any customs or duty fees.  I send packages with custom tags labeled as merchandise, not as “Gifts.” During the last 6 weeks of the year, I will only ship Priority International, which costs, on average, between $28-$35 USD, depending on location. 

Before placing an order for silver, gold or coral items, please check your  country’s customs regulations regarding the importation of these materials to avoid special taxes. 

Can you gift wrap?

Just let me know your item is a gift and I’ll put it into a gift box/ribbon for you.  If you let me know your purchase is for a kidney donor, I’ll include a small pop up card with the word HERO on the front and a small space to send a personal message on the back. Inside the card is one of 30 quotations that reflect noble achievement and good deeds. These are selected at random.

What is your return policy?

I want you to be happy with your purchase, period! Returns must be shipped back within 14 days of receipt.
I’ll refund the cost of merchandise, minus shipping costs. Of course, it there was a defect, I’ll exchange or refund the entire purchase.
