Transplant Gift-Sterling Silver and Paua Shell Kidney Pendant-For Living Donor or Recipient

This is a great kidney transplant celebration gift for a Donor or Recipient gift idea: These pendants were made to my specifications exclusively for my shop/website by a silversmith studio that I work with in Bali. I’ve sold dozens of these and semi-retired the original design to try some other combinations, but people kept asking if I’d get them back in stock, so here they are! I also have them listed in all Mother of Pearl and all Coral. This batch is the most beautiful I’ve had, colors are very iridescent in shades of blues, greens and purples. They are all OOAK, One of a Kidney, all very beautiful!

It is sterling silver, and the kidney shape is formed by hand cut Paua Shell, which has shades of greens, blues and purples with assorted iridescent coloring. The colors shift and change in every light source.

The chain is also sterling silver and you can choose either 16,” 18″ or 20″ long, with 18″ being the most requested. The backside has plenty of flat space for your local jeweler to engrave a date or possibly the word “Hero.” I DO NOT offer engraving services.

The pendant hangs 1.25″ from the chain and comes in a kidney colored tulle bag and either a shiny red or semi gloss matching kidney colored gift box. We are all about the kidney around here!

I highly recommend Priority shipping, especially during holiday time. It is safer, insured and arrives much quicker. First Class, ie standard mail arrival can be quite slow, especially at holiday time. USPS takes all Priority packages first and this can mean a few days delay if the dispatch trucks are full. If this is a holiday gift, it’s best not to take the chance.

PLEASE NOTE: I do not offer engraving services. That needs to be done by your local jeweler. Some do hand engraving, but most do it by machine now. I recommend calling around for prices. They may need to see the piece first, Ask them what fonts they would recommend for your message and allotted space.

For international orders going ouside of the US, please note that your country may hold an item in customs for a customs tax. This does not happen to every order that ships, so I don’t know whether your order will be taxed or not. These taxes are not in my control. They are levied by your customs department. You may want to check with them to see if you can find out ahead of time what the tax might be. From what I hear, they vary quite a bit so I don’t have any idea of how it is determined.
