This set of vintage Inarco brand wood trays from Japan can be used for serving kidney shaped cookies or other goodies for kidney transplant or kidneyversary celebrations, or use one of the set for a dresser valet tray for keys, coins or miscellaneous items. They are nicely made with 3 sizes in the set, curved inside edges and rounded all around. No angles which gives them a nice, organic shape.
These are useful trays, and a conversation starter, a bit whimsical as an unusual kidney shaped gift, These are vintage so there are a few scratches or white marks on the bottoms, but nothing major, just from use over time. The inside of all trays are all clear of markings. I don’t know what year these are from but judging from the paper foil labels on the bottoms, I’m guessing 1970’s-80’s, but not really sure. I’ve never seen another set like these. I seem to have radar for kidney shapes when I’m out hunting in antique markets. Sizes range from 7″x 4″, 8″ x 5″ and 9″ x 6.”
