I began making my Queen of Parts jewelry about 2005. They are made from my collection of kidney beads and vintage crown pin/brooches, popular in the 1950’s-1960’s, although this style brooch is still being made in some contemporary costume jewelry collections. These pieces have been refurbished with kidney beads and drops so are now OOAK (one-of-a-kind). All are fanciful and playful gifts, yet, they have elegance and show symbolism to honor the Gift of Life.Myra Schwartz
