Large Vintage Filigree Silver Toned Heart Box/Pendant reveals Golden Kidneys and Glass Heart-Great Valentines Gift-Last 1!

This is a large, vintage heart shaped box pendant which reveals 2 golden kidneys and a red glass heart. It is not hallmarked so is likely silver plated metal. The filigree is detailed and well done. I don’t know where it was made but it was found at an auction with other shapes as well. The group of them are uncirculated, vintage stock in new condition, a rarity.  I bought  what all they had. This is the only heart. The others are more like handbags, although one is somewhat kidney shaped. I’ll be listing the others soon.

The chain is 24.” There is no clasp as it fits over the head. I thought this group was so interesting and I had never seen pieces like these before. They are perfect for my golden kidney series as they become talisman lockets with golden kidney charms that help remind us of the golden opportunities that the Gift of Life provides.

Size of the heart is 2-7/8″ high x 1-5/8″ wide x 1/2″ deep, so larger than most lockets. I’ve added a larger gold plated kidney bean and a smaller one of gold plated pewter in addition to a red glass heart. You can see the charms through the filigree and it can spark conversation about the need for more organ donation.
