Each year I combine kidneys and hearts together for a campaign I call “Gifts of Life, Love and Gratitude.”
Kidneys and hearts are both beautiful shapes and symbols. They make great visual and symbolic companions when used together to create deeper meaning, and perfect for a Valentine , Transplant or Anytime gift.
This brand new design is a pendant with sterling silver heart and riveted bronze heart layered on top, a tiny sterling kidney bean, and a sterling box chain. I love using mixed metals for contrast and interest. Bronze can be easily polished to a brilliant gold color shine. It will oxidize and tarnish however, like sterling, so it’s best to keep the piece airtight in the little zip bag with the anti tarnish tab that comes with it.
The heart base is 18 x 14mm. The kidney bean is 14 x 5mm and somewhat free floating in that it can be worn in front or in back so it’s a two-fer piece! Layer this pendant with other pendants of different lengths for a contemporary look.
18″ sterling box chain is standard. If you prefer a 16,” just let me know and I’ll change it for you.
If you want more than one with the same length, let me know and I will move the inventory numbers. For shipping If you don’t want to pay Priority, you can select First Class standard shipping, which can be slow to arrive and not insured against loss or damage. Priority IS insured and arrives faster.
