Larimar/Sterling Kidney Pendant #31

This one-of-a-kind rare Larimar gemstone pendant would make a great kidney transplant gift for either a living donor or recipient. Larimar is only found on a few square miles in the Dominican Republic and is called The Caribbean Gem. Each stone pendant is hand cut and no two exactly the same pattern or coloration and hand set into sterling silver bezel.

SIZE: This pendant is the smallest one I have available currently. (The smaller sizes are more difficult to cut.) This one measures 29mm high x 12mm wide x 17mm deep. Length is measured from the top of the bail loop to the bottom of the pendant. The kidney itself, without any loops, is 18mm high.

This stone is fairly even in coloration and looks like light turquoise. The backside has beautiful markings that show Larimar with white blended in. The pendant comes on an 18″ sterling BOX chain, a lighter weight chain for a lighter, smaller pendant in this series. 

I shoot photos in natural light, but colors are not always as accurate in photos, although I try my best to get a good color match. They are ALL truly unique and beautiful but different lighting can make natural stones look lighter or darker. 

Larimar is in the crystal family of gemststones and is known for its color that resembles calm turquoise waters with streaks of sunlight. Gemstone legend says of Larimar’s many healing properties, that  it is thought to be a stone of serenity, relaxation and is used to overcome fears of doctors, hospitals or surgery…perfect for transplant recipients or donors! An information and care card will come with each pendant.

Each comes in a hard cased, hinged presentation box. Box colors may vary, depending on available stock.

I hope to have more Larimar, some Labradorite, Rose Quartz and Amethyst Kidney pendants available before the holidays, as they are popular for holiday gifting.
