Looking for something fun to give as a kidney transplant gift? This is a one of a kind (OOAK) kidney recipient or living donor gift idea for someone with a flair for fun. This is one of the pieces in my Queen of Parts Series. I began making these from a collection of vintage costume jewelry crown pin/brooches about 16 years ago. I’ve just recently uncovered my box of crowns to whichI’ve added kidney bead drops, making them whimsical gifts for yourself or a gift of glitz and glamour.

This one is  gold colored plated metal, very rich  and regal looking, with multi colored crystals and two sizes of plated kidney beads. The middle kidney is high polished cast metal. The others gold plated pewter, each with a collar of Swarovski crystal.

This pin has a loop on back so it can be worn as a pendant on a chain, or as a pin. Size is 2.5′ tall x 1-3/4″ wide and weighs .7 oz, the heaviest of the series so far. It’s glitzy, dramatic, yet playful.
