Gemstone Kidney Beans to Hold, Bag of 10 Carnelian and Agate Beans, Half Drilled on one End
$12.00
These are what I like to call Lucky Kidneys. When I had my transplant, my family was in the waiting room, including my cousin donor’s family. I passed out some little metal kidney shaped beads to hold, kind of like worry stones to rub for good luck in the waiting room during our surgeries. These are much nicer than the ones I found back in 2002. These are made of Carnelian and Agate semi-precious gemstone, highly polished and easy to hold, rub or let you think about whatever you wish.
They are fairly flat but with nicely rounded edges. If you are creative, you might find uses for them other than holding for comfort. One end is partially drilled so a wire could be glued to the inside of the hole. I thought they were drilled through when I found them but I don’t like to use glue in work that I sell since it often can dry up, so they weren’t right for my jewelry designs, but they are very pretty. The colors are natural, leaning from Amber color to deep Cinnamon for the Carnelian. The black stones are Agate. Please keep these stones away from small children since these look like they could be candy.
I’m selling them in bags of 10 assorted kidney shaped gemstones for $12, all from the photos you see here. I have 3 bags of 10. Pass them out to family and friends and have them wish you and your donor good luck, easy surgeries and recoveries.
All gemstones have long standing legends about them. Known as one of the luckiest stones, Carnelian’s beautiful, amber and various deep orange tones are thought to bring courage, energy and creativity to the wearer while helping to alleviate fear. It is known as a stone of health and dreams, perfect for transplants! Often confused with glass, Carnelian is a type of Chalcedony, a mineral in the Quartz family.
Agate gemstone is also a type of Chalcedony and part of the Quartz family of stones. It comes in a large hue of colors with many ancient legends, such as bringing a positive energy and good attitude, guarding against mishaps (so bring it along if you travel for your transplant!), known to bring good luck and fortune. It is also said to balance male and female energies. Think about that if a living donor transplant is between genders!
