(SOLD OUT) Transplant Tree of Life 30mm Stainless Steel Locket – Key Ring with Golden Kidney Inside

This is the largest size of the Tree of Life Diffuser cases. I import the cases for these designs. They are 30mm round, in silver color. This key ring is ideal for either men or women, transplant donor or recipient. The locket case is stainless steel with a Tree design which symbolizes the continuity of life and the opportunity to grow into something healthy and beautiful. While the case has a splendid high polish, this is done with a finishing layer of Nickel metal. Some have allergies to Nickel, so I wanted to make sure that this was known ahead of time. The backside is unadorned but has a brushed finish, so could possibly be engraved by your local jeweler, a nice added touch if you wanted to add a date (or the word HERO, for a special kidney donor!). Please be sure first to check and see if your jeweler can engrave brushed finish stainless steel. Most jewelers who sell watches should be able to engrave it as many watches have brushed backings.

There is a strong magnet that snaps the lid closed. You may be curious to open the case when you get it and look at the charms inside, but you probably won’t ever need to get inside again so I recommend that you use a few drops of glue on the inner rim of the case, around, but not over the magnets. Should the case ever get dropped, this will keep the charms safe and out of any small, curious fingers that might become interested in the charms. Keep these out of reach of children. You can easily remove the key ring and add the chain that comes with it, as well as a few felt pads in case you’d like to use it as a scent or essential oil diffuser. Because of the magnets, take care if you have a pacemaker or other inserted device.

Size is 30 x 36mm and it feels substantial in the hand. I do have a Medium Tree of Life Key ring, very similar but smaller at 25mm (Case is just over an inch).  If you don’t see other sizes here on the website, you can also check in my Etsy shop at etsy.com/shop/kidneyjewelry.  I won’t be restocking this larger size once they sell out, just the 25mm.  These are popular and sell out often. I’ve been having difficulty locating the larger cases in the higher quality I’m after,  and a a reasonable price. If my stock levels become too inconsistent, I will be forced to discontinue them, which saddens me. They’ve been the most sold items for several years on both my website and Etsy shop, so I hope it won’t come to that. I suspect the prices will continue to go up on stainless steel products, so if you are considering these for gifts, you should get them before any further price increases go into effect or they are being discontinued. For now, they each have a red glass heart bead inside as well as the golden kidney.
