20% Sale! Vintage Filigree Silver Toned Kidney Shaped Purse Box/Pendant reveals Golden Kidney and Glass Heart

This is a vintage handbag shaped box pendant that looks a bit like a kidney! Inside reveals a golden kidney and red glass heart. It is not hallmarked so is likely silver plated metal. The filigree is detailed and well done. I don’t know where it was made but it was found at an auction with other shapes as well. The group of them are all uncirculated (unused in original wrapping), vintage stock in new condition, a rarity.  I bought  what all they had. One other is a heart and others are more like handbags/purses. Each style is listed separately.

The chain is 24.” There is no clasp as it fits over the head. I thought this group was so interesting and I had never seen pieces like these before. They are perfect for my golden kidney series as they become talisman lockets with golden kidney charms that help remind us of the golden opportunities that the Gift of Life provides.

Size of the “kidney purse” is 1.5″ high x 1.75″ wide x 7/8″ deep, so it can accommodate other charms you might have or you can add a special note inside. I’ve added one larger gold plated kidney bean and a red glass heart. You can see the charms through the filigree and perhaps it will spark conversation about the need for more organ donation.
