20% Sale! Vintage Filigree Silver Toned Purse/Handbag Locket/Pendant Reveals Golden Kidney and Glass Heart

This is a vintage handbag shaped box pendant/locket. Inside reveals a golden kidney and red glass heart. It is not hallmarked so is likely silver plated metal. The filigree is detailed and well done. I don’t know where it was made but it was found at an auction with other shapes as well. The group of them are all uncirculated (unused in original wrapping), vintage stock in new condition, a rarity.  I bought the small lot of them. One other is a heart and another are has a kidney-esque shape. Each style is listed separately.

The chain is 24.” There is no clasp as it fits over the head. I thought this group was so interesting and I had never seen pieces like these before. They are perfect for my golden kidney series as they become talisman lockets with a golden kidney charm that helps remind us of the golden opportunities that the Gift of Life provides.

Size of the square handbag locket is 33 mm high x 40 mm wide x 10 mm deep, so it can accommodate other charms you might have or you can add a special note inside. I’ve added one larger gold plated cast metal kidney bean and a red glass heart. You can see the charms through the filigree and perhaps this piece will spark conversation about the great need for more organ donation.
